What are shingles? Herpes zoster also called shingles disease is a viral infection causes by the same virus responsible for chickenpox.

Is shingles contagious? It can only be aquired by people that didn't have chickenpox yet. Symptoms of shingles start with pain - continue with muscle ache and itching or fever and result in a shingles rash that should be treated with home remedies for shingles.
